RevU Inc. ("RevU", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our NIL contract analysis platform.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information

Account Information: Name, email address, role (athlete, agent, attorney, compliance officer), organization name

Authentication Data: OAuth tokens from Google, Microsoft, or email/password credentials

Payment Information: Billing address, payment method details (processed securely by Stripe; we do not store full credit card numbers)

Profile Information: Optional profile photo, phone number, preferences

Contract Data

Uploaded Contracts: PDF, DOCX, or text files containing NIL contracts

Contract Metadata: Document names, upload timestamps, analysis results, tags, notes

Analysis Results: AI-generated clause classifications, risk scores, compensation breakdowns, compliance findings

Note: Your contract content is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use this data solely to provide our analysis services.

Usage Information

Log Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, timestamps

Analytics Data: Feature usage, session duration, click patterns (via Google Analytics and Coralogix RUM)

Device Information: Device type, screen resolution, language preferences

Google Workspace Data

When you use our Gmail or Google Docs Add-ons, we access:

Gmail: Email content only when you explicitly trigger contract analysis on a specific email
Google Docs: Document content only when you open the RevU sidebar in a specific document
Google Drive: File metadata for documents you choose to analyze

Limited Scope: We only access files you explicitly select for analysis. We do not scan your entire mailbox or Drive.

2. How We Use Your Information

Core Services

Analyze NIL contracts using AI and provide risk assessments
Extract compensation structures and identify key clauses
Check NCAA, FTC, and state law compliance
Track deliverables and obligations
Generate benchmarking insights and market comparisons

Account Management

Create and maintain your user account
Process payments and manage subscriptions
Send transactional emails (receipts, analysis complete notifications)
Provide customer support

Platform Improvement

Improve AI analysis accuracy (using aggregated, anonymized data)
Develop new features based on usage patterns
Troubleshoot technical issues
Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

Legal Compliance

Comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax reporting, subpoenas)
Enforce our Terms of Service
Protect our rights and the rights of others

We do NOT: Sell your personal information, use your contracts to train AI models for other companies, or share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

3. How We Share Your Information

Service Providers

We share data with third-party vendors who help us provide our services:

Cloud Infrastructure: Hosting and infrastructure (enterprise-grade security)
Database Services: Secure database and authentication (encrypted at rest)
AI Services: AI analysis (contract content is processed but not stored by third parties)
Stripe: Payment processing (PCI DSS Level 1 compliant)
Analytics: Usage analytics (anonymized data)

All service providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for specified purposes.

Team Members (Enterprise Plans Only)

If you're part of an Enterprise organization, authorized team members with appropriate permissions may access contracts shared within your organization.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

Business Transfers

If RevU is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new entity. You will be notified via email of any such change.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

Encryption: Enterprise-grade encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit
Access Controls: Role-based permissions, multi-factor authentication available
Infrastructure: Enterprise-grade cloud hosting
Monitoring: Security monitoring and intrusion detection
Audits: Regular security audits and penetration testing
Employee Training: All employees undergo security training

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

Active Accounts: We retain your data while your account is active and for up to 90 days after account deletion
Contract Data: Deleted contracts are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days
Legal Holds: Data may be retained longer if required by law or pending legal proceedings
Analytics Data: Anonymized usage analytics may be retained indefinitely for research and improvement purposes

Delete Your Data: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting info+privacy@revu.deals.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may limit functionality.

8. Children's Privacy

RevU is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at info+privacy@revu.deals.

Note for Student-Athletes: If you are between 13-18 years old, please obtain parental consent before using RevU.

9. International Data Transfers

RevU is based in the United States. All data is stored and processed in the U.S. using secure cloud infrastructure.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

Posting the updated policy on this page with a new "Last Updated" date
Sending an email notification to your registered email address
Displaying an in-app notification

Your continued use of RevU after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
